As you may know, I love traveling and living in different countries and usually when I am abroad, I keep everyone posted through this blog.

My latest adventure is teaching English in South Korea from November 2010-November 2011. Happy reading!

Another Cooking Day

Cooking days happen every Friday. A couple weeks ago, we made blueberry muffins. My youngest kids are 8-years old, so they love cooking because then they can eat it.

The students watch me when I am demonstrating and they do it themselves after. They do everything: mixing the muffin mix, adding milk and butter, and even CRACKING THEIR OWN EGGS!! I don't know when I first learned to crack an egg, but it wasn't when I was 8-years old.

I am actually surprised at how well they do. Some follow me exactly how I do it, some create their own ways and other just smash it on the counter.

Cooking day is always fun because I also get to eat during every class. One day, we made delicious fruit parfaits with cereal on the bottom of the cup, two scoops of chocolate ice cream, diced fruit, chocolate sauce and a cherry on top. I think I ate five that day...

All my students in this class tried to convince me that this kid is a spy from North Korea. I couldn't help but to laugh!
